I LOVED IT!!!
I don’t personally have any children (yet) but I truly think they are absolutely amazing! I showed my Pastor this the other day, and now I can’t get it back because his son doesn’t want to watch anything else! My Pastor has asked me to get in touch with you guys to find out how we can get Toby’s Adventures here in London? We would love to offer it to our congregation and really feel that it would make a huge impact on our youth (as well as the parents)

My kids are crazy about Toby and I need to get hold of the films. My parents live in Zambia and mum sent us some funny copy of Monsters and me, that is now scratched and worn out after a million times of watching it!! So I’m going to need a new copy and the next film!I was wondering if I could get hold of them somewhere in Europe? Please let me know.

My child loves Toby and I have just introduced my friend who is a Grade R teacher to the DVD. I see that there is a second DVD which I would like to obtain and also the colouring in pics. Pls let me know where I can get the DVD and download the pics from. This is a great evangelism tool for Nursery School kids.

We have seen a copy of The adventures of Toby and would love to order a couple. I would be happy to order a couple and distribute them here in Australia to friends and family.
Is there more than one DVD / film available? Yes, there are two DVD’s – the first has Monsters & Me, and Making Friends and the second DVD has Crunch Time on.
Are you creating a series? Yes, we are currently scripting more films and stories!
Would you be able to send them to Australia? YES, we can take international orders through email and paypal. We aim to release the DVD’s on Amazon on 15 October, 2010.
Thank you for the work you put into this production, It is a blessing to us and our children. We pray that you would be blessed many times in return for the fruit you produce for our beloved, wonderful and gracious Saviour!!
Shalom

We absolutely love it! Our five year old girl, Morgan, asks to watch it every night. It has meant a lot to her. If you make more we want them!!!!! Our friends are asking where they can get them as we play this for the kids who come to our home cell.

I received my DVD over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it! Keep up the good work. My daughter (11) especially liked the way you portrayed Jesus. According to her He looked cool and funky and nothing like the man in flowing robes most people like to portray Him. This modern Jesus is relevant to her life and somebody she can relate too. Our only “complaint” is that the movie was too short, but we look forward to many more episodes and may God bless you in this venture. Thank you for giving us an alternative to the dreaded Harry Potter!!

I wanted to say that we liked the DVD and look forward to the next film. We are praying that the Lord will bless you, and please continue with this very important work. The devil wants to harvest the children and we as Christians need to combat this. I believe that your work will do this.

I was blown away by the quality of the graphics and the simple script. I’m a graphic artist I’m usually disappointed by a lot of the Christian cartoons and programming for kids. But I look forward to playing this for my nephew and having him do the activities.

I must just let you know … I purchased the first DVD for my son. My pastor’s daughter is an au pair to 2 young children. Their mother had been “searching for God” but ended up reading new age books and stuff and getting into things that should best be left alone. As a result, her little boy started seeing “ghosts” or “manifestations” in the house and he was very very scared. His au pair mentioned what was going on to her mother, asking them to pray. I had shown the DVD to her mom when they visited us one afternoon, and to cut a long story short, we loaned them the DVD for him and his sister to watch, and yes, you guessed it … through your movie, and giving him Jesus’ words to load his “gun”, he was able to deal with his fear and the “ghosts”.

My son was really moved by Monsters & Me. He is 7 years old and after he had seen it he started crying really hard, I thought something was wrong, maybe he found the monsters scary or something. But he said that he didn’t know why he was crying as he actually felt happy “God is with me all the time” he said. A little later I checked on him and he was sitting in bed smiling. I asked if he felt different as I had realized that the Holy Spirit had been doing a work in him, “I feel a bit like I have been to the other side of the world!” he said.

I am a Salvation Army minister in Durban. One of my congregation members gave me the monsters and me DVD as a resource for my Sunday school and teen church. It has had an amazing impact! My teenagers have testified to situations where they have repeated the words, ‘God is in me, I will not be afraid!’ Please tell me you have more where that comes from and how can I get hold of them if you have? What other resources do you have? Thank you for an amazing little DVD!

I came across a note posted with the copy of “Monsters and Me” that I purchased last year for my 4-year old nephew and thought I’d give you some feedback.Initially, when he watched the movie he was going through a period of being afraid to be alone in his room and spoke about monsters etc. Perhaps he picks these ideas up from the other children at preschool that he attends? I don’t know. Consequently, he watched only part of the movie, being terrified apparently to go any further. This past month however the movie was taken to granny’s house -she sometimes baby-sits -and he has watched it over-and-over, asking questions about where Jesus is, where He lives etc. Perhaps the Lord has touched his heart too.

I’ve seen “Monsters and Me” at my child’s psychologist and she recommended it for her as part of therapy. So I’d really appreciate it if you send it to me now, but PLEASE keep my in the loop when you release the new one!

We have have used it Rouxville Baptist Church, and the the children were “glued” to screen, I have personally used it at the Children’s Club (Sonshine Kids) in Bez-Valley and there was a little boy who was very scared of the dark and wouldn’t even go out the bedroom at night without the lights on, when it got to the part of “I will not be scared for God is with me” he jumped up from his chair and said, “Yipee now I have the answer, I will not be scared because God is with me” with his little arms in the air, rejoicing he now has assurance, and I have spoken to the mother and she says, every time he needs to go into a dark room he says the line “God ……….
I am so thrilled, and he has also been using it when he is planning to do something naughty, he says I will not be naughty because God is with me. Thank you so much for a wonderful tool to teach children to trust the Lord in every situation.

I want to congratulate you on a wonderful film. I think maybe my husband and I enjoyed the film more than our kids did and we have watched it maybe 10 times already. Every time we watch it, it makes an impact and every time God reveals something else of himself to me. The way you depicted His words as our weapon, made me view His word as the sword in our armour, completely differently.
Elize van Rooyen (Barberton)
My little girl Jana was completely transfixed by it. I love the way Jesus is presented, so normal, so contemporary. This thing of being scared and monsters is so real for children, and the film has given Jana a tool to deal with it in a way she completely understands. I am amazed by the wonderful quality of the graphics and the dialogue too.

I just want to tell you how very impressed I am with the “Monsters and Me” short film. I have watched it at least a dozen times, and am filled with awe at how powerful it is each time I watch it. You clearly communicate an essential truth for our Christian faith in a way that is easily grasped by people of any age. The quality is excellent and the story is fun, but profound. (The cultural reference to the Matrix was cool too!). I am actually blown away by this work.

I used the first episode of Monster & Me which had a fabulous effect on the kids. They sat riveted for the 10minutes and the action sheets were awesome.

I am a Christian & am a member of Stoney Beach Baptist Church in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand.
We are a small church & are slowly building up our resources. I know that all the energy that you have put into making this small film will touch many children’s hearts, as well as many adults.
Thank you for touching little people (children’s) lives from all over the world. I know the Lord will bless each member of your team for doing so!

I’ve written once before to mention how much I loved the first Toby movie. I used it last week for some Wednesday night church programming for 5-8 year old children. We talked first about our fears and then watched the movie with more discussion afterward. The children loved the film and really “got” the scripture metaphor you used. In Bismarck, ND, we are all looking forward to the next Toby installment! Thanks for the good work

Just a small note to let you know that we got above DVD at Sunday School Teachers Conference and showed it to our Sunday school and it was very well received. They were attentive, interested and had a lot of questions. I am sure they walked away with a better understanding and learned to cope with this situation. I have to tell you that for me personally I thought it was an excellent story and the artistic side was very much in line with today’s children world of animation. Captivating and very good!

You might be interested to know that when the subject of “dark” came up in a Sunday School class this last Sunday, Luke Jasper proudly announced that he is not scared of the dark because when the monsters come, he just takes his sword and fights them off! Wonder where that came from????
